Part 4 — My Son Let His Wife Throw Me Out—Neither Knew I Had Just Sold My Farm for $7.3 Million

Part 4

According to the information the bank provided for confirmation, he’d mentioned the farm as an asset he expected to inherit and suggested that I would support the financing.

The lender required my authorization before proceeding with any guarantee.

I’d given none.

Even after everything, my son was still treating my assets as though they were available whenever he needed them.

I provided a written response.

I no longer own the farm, and I have not agreed to guarantee any loan for Daniel or his company.

I typed a short response.

Sunday works. My attorney Margaret will be coming with me.

His reply appeared almost immediately.

Why are you bringing an attorney?

I looked at the documents spread across my desk.

“Because this time,” I whispered, “we’re going to talk about what you actually owe.”
